Hi there, welcome to my blog. This is a space where you can read about my artwork and my creative process, but most importantly, it will also be a space that I will use to share thoughts on things that matter to me as a photographer, as an artist and as a citizen of Earth. You see, my photography reflects my beliefs and my concerns. I am first and foremost someone who is deeply concerned about the environment, especially the fate of our forests, so you will be hearing (well, reading) a lot about forests and other wonders of nature here. I´ll try my best not to preach! But the fact is that trees don´t have voices, yet are key to our survival as a civilization and as a species. We cannot live without trees, yet they are being cut down all over the world - for what? A fistful of dollars?

Old growth forests especially concern me. They are not just a haven for biodiversity, protectors of watersheds or carbon absorbers. They are spectacles of beauty far greater than anything humans have ever created. They are repositories of spiritual value. They are essential not just for our physical health, but also for our mental health. I will be devoting much of my photography to be a voice for the trees. Someone must speak for the trees! (thank you, Dr. Seuss)
So thank you for signing up and for participating with me on this journey. Please feel free to comment - I will try to reply to or acknowledge all comments and questions to the best of my abilities.
